Tekstboks: The booking phase Generation of FBL to carrier Accounting towards agents and carriers - either directly or via CASS When an agent phones in, speed is vital, i.e. all necessary information should be available in one single screen. The booking screen in ParaGen has a logical design and holds all information required for efficient booking. Tekstboks: ParaGen assists the GSA in performing 3 major tasks: Tekstboks: Required fields (marked with an asterisk) are : Agent Origin Destination Carrier Ready Date Number of pieces Actual Weight Volume Nature of goods Tekstboks: Based on these required fields ParaGen will propose a routing – show alternatives, and will calculate pricing, additional costs like Fuel Surcharge, Security Charge and Trucking. Furthermore the GSA’s margin is shown on the booking. Possible handling fee and other charges due agent, carrier and GSA can be entered now or later in the accounting phase.
